Diversity Programming

The Office of the Recruitment, Development, and Diversity Initiatives at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy at Chapel Hill seeks to recruit the next generation of pharmacy leaders and outstanding faculty and staff which will embrace a multiplicity of dimensions including but not limited to race, national origin, gender, and differential abilities. The overall mission is that the school be reflective in all its dimensions of the population of the state that it serves. To achieve these outcomes, the school will execute an aggressive, results oriented outreach, and recruitment and retention plan that will enhance efforts to identify, recruit, admit and/or hire prospective students and faculty and staff and to retain them. This will require a sustained, multifaceted effort.
